Civil War sketches!

Here is a sketch of Alfred R. Waud at Devils Den.  I think my proportions are a little rusty, but overall I think it turned out pretty good.

And here is the fierce cavalry corporal, Agarn!

Final Battle!

A gripping fight between two Yarak tribes!

This is a battle picture that I did just for fun and to try out a new technique.

The Knight and his Steed

This is an acrylic on mat board.

Here are some close ups...

After the Battle

This lone French Cuirassier is left contemplating the silence of the battlefield, where before there was such confusion.

This painting is done in Acrylic.

The Emperor is watching us!

Here is a pen and ink drawing that I was experimenting with. I used brush pens and markers to get the final effect that I wanted.

The French Cuirassiers, one of my all time Napoleonic favorites!

New pens = (!)

My brother gave me a pen set for my un-birthday and I love it!

Here are the French 5th infantry unit holding their own against the Prussian Cuirassiers.

I have always enjoyed drawing climactic battles. I don't know why I haven't done more in the past! History is more fun with battle pictures to go with it!

French Grenadiers

Here is a drawing of some French Grenadiers during the Napoleonic wars. The Grenadiers were elite infantry units usually the largest group on the field. They were used for assaulting fortified positions.

The picture has bands on the top and bottom due to my horrid scanner.
