I'd hate to be a guard, standing there in the darkness of night with my glowing red eyes visible from miles away…

You didn't mention his low pay check.

Every time I try commenting on your blog, one of my siblings jumps on my lap, thus making it impossible for me to type. They're all detained now, so I should be safe. :)

Anyway, Wonderful artwork you've been posting both here and in the French Chronicles. I especially like the textures, colors and expressions on these pages. Also, I think you're the first person I've seen use a talking horse in science fiction. Can't wait to see what you've got in store!

Thanks Gaelen! I used shades of gray brush-pens and colored and applied textures using photoshop. I'm going to post about the brush pens soon. I thought that a talking miniature horse in a space comic would be a first.

I wanted to ask you who your favorite character was in the French Chronicles.

This may sound silly, but I think my favorite character is the scoundrel who says "It was no problem, I lie all the time" in the beginning of the story. There's just something about him that makes me wonder what sorts of outrageous situations he's bluffed his way out of.

I didn't expect that. I'll have to give him another appearance later on in the comic.

Thanks for the feed back. It gives me encouragement to keep going.
