Here is a pencil sketch of Secretariat.

Did the butler commit the crime?  No, he had an alibi!  He was with an artist getting his portrait done! 

This is just a sketch of the footman from an English TV show.  I don't really follow the show, but it was on last week and Carson had a face that had to be drawn!

Test Animation

Here is a animation test that I put together. I thought this might be possible if I drew the characters and animated them in pieces.  It came together real fast and I think it looks pretty cool! And thanks to Gussie for throwing in his design for the villain.

Brush Pens

 I am playing around with effects using Faber-Castell shades of grey brush pens.  I have been using these pens on plain ink-jet paper. They don't bleed and add good dimension to your drawing.















Here is a picture that I have inked and shaded with the brush pens.

Then I add color and backgrounds in photoshop.
